Do you feel overwhelmed, swamped, and just too busy? Sometimes we have so many things to do we think we will never be able to finish everything. We also can spend days, weeks and even months "thinking" about doing important tasks but constantly feeling anxious because we never actually do them.

This episode is on a book that I NEEDED TO READ. With so many things to do with the new podcast, website, etc.., I need to learn how to tackle the most important tasks first thing in the morning and get "addicted" to the feeling you get after completing your most valuable, important task (the frog).

The book Eat that Frog by Brian Tracy is great! It has helped me get focused on the right things, and I am sure it can help you decide which tasks need to be done first, to bring the most success and happiness into your life. to be done first, to bring the most success and happiness into your life.

Making decisions is part of daily life. What should I have for breakfast? What career path should I take? What English program is going to help me become fluent faster? Sometimes we struggle with making the "right" decision, especially when there are big life choices to be considered. Fortunately, making the right decisions is a skill that can be developed. As discussed in the book "Decisive", by Dan and Chip Heath, various factors contribute to making bad decisions. Through deep research, the authors have found factors that contribute to making poor choices, but if we recognize these factors and learn how to avoid them when making decisions we can feel more confident about the decisions we make. Learn how to be a better decision maker on this episode of the Feel Good English podcast.

Instead of changing jobs every six months, why don't you learn a way to start loving the job you currently have.

There is a common philosophy out there that we have to follow our passion and find the perfect job based on what we love to do in life.

Well finding a job based on your passion is often not even possible. But there is a way to enjoy the job you have a lot more, and in the book, "So Good They Can't Ignore You" by Cal Newport, you will learn:

  • Why following your passion is a bad idea
  • Why more people today are dissatisfied with their jobs than in the past
  • What you should do instead of looking for the "perfect" job
  • What skills you should develop in today's competitive job market.

Apply it to Your English Fluency

In this episode, I will show you how you can take the lessons from the book and not only enjoy your job more, but see faster progress in your English speaking skills too.

How Do You Become Rich?

Someone studied successful people to find the exact answer to this, and the lessons he shared have been followed for the last hundred years, and the book is still being studied today. At the beginning of the 20th century (1900) a guy named Napolean Hill was challenged to do something. He was challenged to interview very successful people over the next 20 years to find out what lead to their success. And through this research, he created the book "Think and Grow Rich" which is a self-help classic.

Do you Want to Become Rich in English?

What he found was that none of these successful people possess skills that were unattainable by most people. What it comes to when gaining big success can be broken down into a process. And I am going to talk about this process, and how you can apply it to your English learning in this episode of the Feel Good English podcast.

Neuro-linguistic programming deals with how our minds and bodies are connected, how our emotions work, how we see the world, everybody sees the world differently, and our experiences and the way we communicate with other people is completely based on our own map of how we have learned about the world.

If you find yourself living in and thinking about the past too much, or maybe you procrastinate and you never seem to be able to get ahead of the projects that you want to get done, you are always doing them at the last minute, if you feel sad a lot, you are depressed a lot, maybe you start new habits, but then you soon give up, you soon quit

This system is based off evolution, which means it is the natural way our brains retain information. In the book, "Memory Palace", Lewis explains how this system works, and even goes through the works of Shakespear to show the reader exactly how to master this loci memory system.
